Past Events:

Noted African Beadmaker visits GlassRoots: Nomoda "Cedi" Djaba, wellknown Ghanaian glass bead artist, will visit the GlassRoots Studio, Newark, on Monday and Tuesday, June 15 and 16 from 4 to 7 p.m. Cedi will demonstrate Ghanaian beadmaking techniques to Newark youth involved in the glassmaking curriculum provided to Newark area young people already familiar with Venetian glass beadmaking skills. Visitors may watch the workshop each afternoon. Additionally Cedi's beads and jewelery will be available for purchase.
